Welcome to My 2005 Adirondack Balloon Fest Home Page Hi, Jim Duell Here Again With A Lot Of New Pictures And Stories From The 33rd Annual Adirondack Balloon Fest Held Each Year At The Warren County Airport In Queensbury, NY. On Friday Evening There Was 92 Balloons That Were Ready To Lift Off At 5:30 PM But, With High Winds All Day The Balloons Were Canceled Until Saturday Morning At Sunrise. Special Shaped Balloons This Year Had A Total Of 12 Special Shaped Balloons At The Festival. They Were The Purple People Eater, The Brazilian Clown, The Blue Octapus, Jack O Lantern, Sir Prize, Red Strawberry, MIA - POW Forget Me Not, Bullseye, The Kissing Honey Bees, Old McDonalds Farm, Re/Max, Jurassic Journey. GREAT BALLOONING WEEKEND There Was Plenty To Do All Weekend Whether It Is Just Sitting On A Park Benck On The Lake Front Or Checking Out All The Stores At The Adirondack Outlet Mall Or Taking Lots Of Pictures. We Did It All, Walked Around The Lakefront Taking Pictures Of All The Steamboats Up And Down The Lake. Had Lots Of Great Meals To Eat And Checked Out All The Gift Shops In Lake George Village Each Day We Were There. Had Very Beautiful Weather With No Rain At All But, High Winds On Thursday & Friday And Then Saturday Was Spectular For Balloons To Lift Off At 5:30 PM. My Photography Equipment Is Something That I Wouldn't Go On Any Vacation Without Bringing It Along. I Have A New Konica - Minolta 7D DSLR Digital 6.3 Camera With 6 Different Minolta Lenses That I Use With It. This Is The First Year That I Didn't Use Any 35mm Film At All. I Went All Digital Using 3 - Different Digital Cameras. I Also Used A Kodak 290 Digital And My Other Kodak 210+ Digital Along With My 7D With A Total Of 1986 Pictures For This 4 - Day Event. |
 BALLOONS EVERYWHERE Taking Lots Of Pictures Of This 4 - Day Event I Have Put About 70 Of The Best Of 2000 That I Took On This Site Covering All 4 - Days.  On The Outside Looking In Checking Out The Inside Of The Family Affair Balloon Looks Pretty Neat. |
